The Riva Ariston is considered by Carlo Riva to be the most elegant boat and is the only model that has been built throughout his management of the Shipyard.
The boat in question is one of only 19 examples produced with optional Cadillac engines.
In fact, the 250 hp engine derives directly from the 8V engine adopted on the famous Cadillac Eldorado.
This Ariston, launched in 1956, is the only one of the 6 Cadillac examples of that year to have survived.
To date, it is the only Ariston Cadillac to still have the two-piece windshield adopted at the beginning of production by Ing. Riva before the introduction of the famous "panoramic" model.
The boat is in good general condition as it has been faithfully restored by a skilled shipwright after its long stay inside a hangar for more than 40 years.
The planking of the sides has been preserved while that of the bottom has been replaced and reinforced to allow a better hold of the screws.
The transom was also replaced as the planking was non-existent.
The upholstery is new and faithful to the original layout of the time.
The Cadillac engine has been totally overhauled and, to date, has only 25 hours of navigation.
More information and photographic documentation of the restoration available on request.

Double row of seats, liftable helm seat for stand-up driving, bow seat backrest that can be lowered to form a large sundeck.
